This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a side-by-side utility vehicle, including undertaking pre-start checks and shutdown procedures, and identifying hazards and risks in operating a UTV.
Attendees of this course must be able to complete the following criteria in both written knowledge and practical assessments.
- Prepare a side-by-side utility vehicle for use
- Operate a side-by-side utility vehicle
- Complete side-by-side utility vehicle operation
We currently offer this course to businesses whose employees require this unit of competency to undertake their daily duties.
Attendees must hold the relevant driver’s licence to participate in this course. Appropriate PPE is required for this course, including fully enclosed shoes and a helmet.
